Social First

Maddox Gallery is an international group of galleries specialising in contemporary and modern art. They have built a reputation for sourcing and exhibiting exclusive, cutting-edge art from internationally acclaimed and emerging artists.

The Love and Other Crimes exhibition, taking place around Valentine’s Day, was complemented with a comprehensive social-first campaign in order to encourage engagement, build brand awareness for Maddox Gallery and ultimately drive footfall to the event.

A range of social activities were implemented including:

  • Exciting and innovative technology in the form of two filters: a selfie filter which could be used at home anywhere in the world and an augmented reality filter to be used on the gallery’s famous flower wall.
  • End-to-end experiential from concept to execution of the AR flower wall, including placement of QR codes and capturing relevant content.
  • Content across all social channels to create awareness and encourage engagement surrounding the exhibition.
  • In-event coverage of the VIP event to produce social-first content including interviews with artists and influencers as well as event highlights.
